GreenInk – My First Freelance Brand

Since FIDO (yep, you’re really old if you know what it was) and the first internet chat-rooms my nickname was Greeny. Besides that I like green color this nickname meant “newbie”, because in 90th I didn’t fill confident in web communication. Then, when I started to produce web-sites I need some name and a logo for my new brand. The “green” was for Greeny and the “ink” hinted to “INC.”. Not so thought out but in 2002 I liked it… until in 2015 since I return to my webdev freelance I discovered the meaning of “green-ink letter” 🙂 I felt awkward and soon I came up with a new name – Manu Te Maia (in Maori language is “Valiant Bird” or “Spirit of Confidence”).
