I am an economist by education, graduated from USUE in 2002. Since 2001 I have been working in the information technology field and have built a successful career from an ordinary employee to the CEO. In late 2012 I decided to start my own business and some time later founded the company “Manu Te Maia”, which core activity is the development of websites and web-applications. For the sixth year I enjoy what I do: from the need to constantly develop new and improve existing skills to the variety of tasks to be solved and the ability to switch between completely incompatible activities, such as administering a linux server and design in printing, designing a database and making front-end animation. I am thrilled from the solved tasks and the result obtained; from the kind words of my customers who are satisfied with my work, whether it is a new functionality of the site or just a promo banner. Speaking from my soul, I can say that I do not regret my downshift at all. When a hobby becomes a job, a happiness comes.

Nevertheless, the objective necessity has ripened to move on. This means, first of all, a focus on one, at most, two specializations, since it is currently very problematic to stay on the cutting edge of expertise in everything related to web and mobile development. The choice was not easy because I love every aspect of the fireworks of the tasks that I solve. And I chose design, or rather, UX / UI design. The second direction, also related to the front-end, is JavaScript & React.

The last year has been more training than commercial projects (thanks, COVID19). Graduated from the California Academy of Arts (CalArts) specialty in Graphic Design this year, which consists of five courses. Currently, I am improving my UX expertise, and, in parallel, studying the “machinery” of team software development (Git, Docker), TypeScript and React.

I am a member of the Board of the Research Center “Laboratory of Alternative History”. I am fond of photography, filming / editing video and ancient history.
